Profile, from the sidebar or the user menu. Seven tabs.

Changing your password

Security → Change password. Requirements: at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a number and a special character.

Two-factor authentication

Security → 2FA. Turn it on and you will need a code from your authenticator app as well as your password at sign-in.
Save your recovery codes somewhere outside the authenticator app when you enable 2FA. Losing the device without them means an administrator has to intervene, and if you are the only administrator that is a genuinely painful recovery.
Worth doing for any account that can reach billing, roles or channel settings — those are the ones where a compromise costs the most.

Changing your email

Email tab. The new address has to be verified before it becomes your sign-in address, so you keep access throughout.

Access

A read-only view of the roles you hold and what they grant. Useful for answering “why can’t I see X?” before raising it — see Roles and permissions. If your access changed and the app has not caught up, the user menu has Recheck access, which re-reads your permissions without signing out.

Deleting your account

Danger Zone. This is your personal account, not the workspace.
If you are the workspace’s only administrator, hand admin to someone else first. A workspace whose last admin deletes their account has no one who can manage channels, roles or billing.
Reassign your conversations, leads and customers before you go — see Users and invitations.
