The official connection. Unlike the QR-code option, this does not involve a phone staying online, does not drop, and is the only way to send templates, run broadcasts or use WhatsApp calling.

Before you start

1

A phone number that is not on WhatsApp

The number must not currently be registered to a normal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app account. If it is, delete that account first — or buy a number through us instead.
2

A Meta Business account

You can create one during the flow if you do not have one.
3

Admin access to it

You need permission to add a WhatsApp account to that business.

Connecting

1

Start the connection

Settings → Channels → Add channel → WhatsApp Business. A Meta window opens.
2

Sign in and follow Meta's steps

You will confirm your business, then create or select a WhatsApp Business account.
3

Verify the phone number

Meta sends a code by SMS or voice call to that number.
4

Select the number

Back in Linkiasoft, pick which of the numbers on that account this channel should use.
5

Done

The channel goes live. Grant it to a role so chats reach your team — see Invite your team.

What this unlocks

Business verification

Meta limits unverified businesses to a small number of unique customers per day. Verifying your business with Meta lifts that. It is done in Meta’s Business Manager, not here, and it is worth starting early — it can take several days.

Common problems

The number is in use by a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app account. Delete that account from the app (Settings → Account → Delete my account) and wait a few minutes before retrying.
Try the voice-call option instead of SMS. Some carriers block automated SMS. A landline can only use voice.
Nothing is saved until you complete the last step. Start again from Add channel.
The WhatsApp Business account has no verified number yet. Finish adding and verifying one in Meta Business Manager, then reconnect.
