Units

Your plan includes a shared monthly pool of units. Two things draw from it:
  • each active contact, and
  • each AI reply.
One unit each. They share the same pool, so a month heavy on AI replies leaves less room for contacts and vice versa.

What your plan controls

Feature flags decide whether AI, campaigns, automations and calls are available at all. A greyed-out feature is a plan boundary, not a fault.

Watching usage

The billing page shows current consumption against each limit.
Check it around three-quarters through the month, not at the end. Hitting the unit ceiling stops outbound messages — including broadcasts mid-send — and noticing on the last day leaves no time to act.

Growth packages

Extra units in bulk, with bonus units at larger sizes. These top up the pool without changing your plan — the right answer for a one-off busy month, such as a seasonal campaign. If you exceed the pool every month, changing plan is cheaper than repeated top-ups.

Changing plan

Plans are activated by the team — Upgrade starts that conversation rather than charging immediately.

Running out

When the pool is exhausted, outbound sending and AI replies stop. Incoming messages still arrive and your team can still work; it is sending that is blocked. Buy a growth package for immediate relief, then look at what consumed the units. A common cause is an AI agent assigned to a high-volume channel where most conversations did not need one — see AI agents.
