A lead is a potential deal: who it is with, what it is worth, and where it has got to.
Stages are yours to define
The pipeline is not fixed. Under stage settings you can add, rename, reorder and color
stages to match how your team actually sells.
Two flags matter more than the rest: each stage can be marked as won or lost. That
is what tells the system a deal is finished, and it feeds:
- Revenue and conversion reporting
- Sales-cycle length
- Whether a returning customer goes back to the team — see
How assignment works
A pipeline whose final stages are not marked won or lost will report a 0% conversion rate
and never release returning customers back to the rotation. If your numbers look wrong,
check this first.
Ways to look at the pipeline
View settings control which columns are visible, compact mode, and which attributes show
on cards — set per person, so your layout does not disturb anyone else’s.
What a lead holds
Name, company, contact details, stage, value and currency, probability, priority,
source, and an owner.
The owner matters beyond the deal itself: it drives sticky assignment, so that customer’s
future conversations come back to the same person.
From conversation to lead
A lead can be created from a conversation directly, so a promising WhatsApp chat becomes a
tracked deal without retyping anything. From then on the lead panel sits beside the
conversation, and the stage can be changed without leaving the inbox.
Importing and exporting
Import from CSV — download the template first, so the columns line up. Export to CSV or
Excel from the table view, respecting whatever filters you have applied, so you can export
a subset rather than everything.
Converting
A won lead can be converted to a customer, which is what moves the relationship from
“deal we are chasing” to “company we do business with”.
