# WooCommerce

> Connecting your store so orders trigger automations and customers get WhatsApp confirmations.

Connect a WooCommerce store and orders placed there can start an automation here — most
commonly a WhatsApp order confirmation.

## Connecting

<Steps>
  <Step title="Install the LinkiaSoft plugin on your store">
    Nothing arrives until the plugin is installed and active.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate a connect code">
    **Integrations → WooCommerce → Connect a store.**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste it into the plugin">
    The LinkiaSoft tab in your WooCommerce settings. The store then connects itself.
  </Step>
</Steps>

The status shows **Waiting for plugin** until the store checks in, then **Connected**.

<Note>
  Generating a **New code** immediately stops the previous one working. Only do it if the
  first code was never used or has leaked.
</Note>

## Statuses

| Status                 | Meaning                                        |
| ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **Connected**          | Working                                        |
| **Waiting for plugin** | Code generated, store has not connected yet |
| **Paused**             | Temporarily stopped                            |
| **Error** | Something is wrong — the store card shows what |

## What you can do with it

Once connected:

* **Trigger:** *Order is placed in your store* starts an automation.
* **Blocks:** *Create order*, *Update order* and *List products* let a flow act on the store.

See [Triggers and blocks](/help/automation/triggers-and-actions).

The classic flow is: order placed → send a WhatsApp message with the order details. Ten
minutes to build, and it removes a large share of "where is my order?" messages.

## Disconnecting

Orders stop arriving, the API key is removed from the store, and **automations using the
order trigger stop running for it**. Check which flows depend on that store before
disconnecting.

## Details on the store card

Signing secret, country code, last order received, and plugin version — the first place to
look when orders stop arriving.
