# Connect TikTok

> Managing comments on your TikTok videos and ads from the inbox.

TikTok brings **comments** on your videos and ads into the inbox, so replies are handled
alongside every other channel rather than in a separate app.

## Connecting

**Settings → Channels → Add channel → TikTok**, then sign in and authorize access. Use the
account that owns the videos and ads you want to manage.

## What arrives

Comments, in the **Comments** tab of the [inbox](/help/inbox/tour) — not the Messages tab.
The **Posts** tab shows the video a comment belongs to, which is usually necessary to
understand it.

Unlike WhatsApp or Messenger, TikTok is a comment channel here rather than a
direct-messaging one.

## Replying

Reply publicly under the comment, or hide comments you do not want visible.

Comment handling can be automated — a flow that replies to every comment containing "price"
with a standard answer, for example. See

## Nothing arriving

1. Is the channel **Connected**?
2. Did the account you signed in with actually own those videos?
3. Are there new comments since connecting? Historic comments are not always backfilled.
